Here are the copies of the Speech Day poems for your students to practice and memorize!

Group 1: Sergio, Riku, Alex, Masamu
Sea Animals

What do you see in the sea?
Animals moving free!
Snails and whales
Using their tails.
Seals and eels
Looking for meals.
Catfish, flatfish
Chasing fat fish.
What do you see in the sea?
Animals moving free!

-Meish Goldish

Group 2: Victor, Xavier, Makana, Anri
In the Beehive

Here is the beehive,
but where are the bees?
Hidden inside, where nobody sees.
Watch as they come out of their hive,
one, two, three bees,
four bee, five!

-Author Unknown

Group 3: Mishia, Melisa, Aubrey, Susan
Apples

Apples, apples, what a treat,
sweet and tart and good to eat.
Apples green and apples red,
hang from branches overhead,
and when they ripen,
down they drop,
so we can taste our apple crop!

-Helen H. Moore

Group 4: Min, Harumi, Ranon, Kokone
Why My Homework is Missing

Deep inside my wooden desk
Lurks a monster most grotesque.
It ate my pencil and my pen,
My composition book, and THEN
It started rattling
clattering
hissing.

And THAT is why my homework is missing.

-Douglas Florian

Group 5: Mitsuo, Jarin, Jayden, Haruki
Popcorn

Have fun memorizing!!!!
