- We are having LOTS of fun in 1st grade so far!
- This week we will start weekly Spelling words. They are short a words. Every day there will be Spelling homework to help practice the words. On Friday, we will have a Spelling Test. I will say the word, say it in a sentence, and say the word again. Then the student will write it down.

- Please make sure to have your child leave their library book in their backpack after you use it at night, we will start to use it in class sometimes, as well as we need all the library books back on TUESDAY of every week. Please have your child start reading to you every night!
