Happy Friday!
Thank you for a wonderful Student Led Conference! I hope you were proud of your child and their growth this year! I sure am proud of them!
This week we read the Fairy Tales that the students wrote. They did a fantastic job!
We also focused on Letter Writing! We learned the different parts of a letter and how you should ask some questions first, then tell about yourself. We wrote a letter to Joshua (who was in our class the first 3 weeks of school!) then they got to pick who to write a letter to. We are also learning how to write our own address to prepare for Kid City.
Math - We finished up Chapter 7 with learning how to read graphs. We did some center work on Thursday. We even had some second graders visit our room to take a survey on our class!
Bible - This week we are taking a break from the Old Testament to review some of the stories from Jesus in the New Testament. We are going through the children’s Bible to learn about Jesus’ miracles and teachings. Jesus is amazing! The blind people can see, the people who can’t walk can walk, and people who are dead are raised back to life!
Today 3rd quarter ends! One more quarter to go!

Wednesday, Thursday, Friday - Terra Nova Test! Please make sure your child gets plenty of rest these three nights! They can also bring a healthy snack to eat in the morning to help with their brain power. Please let me know if you have any questions!
