Friday News for LAST WEEK OF SCHOOL!!!!!

Wow! We made it! The 2014-2015 school year has successfully come to an end. It was an incredible year filled with so much fun and learning. I am thankful for each and everyone of the students that I had. I grew to love them and will miss them so much!

Thank you also for the parents who supported their child and me during the school year. I couldn't have done it without your help!
We had a fun End-of-the-school-year Party! Mrs. Bezner came to see us and say good bye!

Here's the video we watched together at the Party.

This week we learned all about the human body. We learned the 6 systems of the body including: Respiratory, circulatory, digestive, muscular, skeletal and nervous. The student were broken up into groups and they had to make a human sized model of a system. They did fantastic!!! Here are some pictures:

This week, instead of Bible, we did some object lessons and science experiments to teach some Biblical truths. We did an experiment using celery and water with red food coloring. We first predicted what would happen. After that we let the celery sit in the red water overnight. The next day, we examined the leaves to find that the veins had turned red. Just like in our own life, if we surround our selves with bad things, they will begin to seep into our lives. So we need to make sure to surround ourselves with good friends, good influences as well as reading the Bible and praying. Here's the pics of the students doing the experiment:

Have a fantastic summer and see you in August!

Love,
Ms. Turner
