Happy Friday!
This week:
Reading: We did an author study on Mo Willem’s Elephant and Piggy books! They are SO fun! We also worked on our fluency and practicing reading with good punctuation. On Friday we did some fun activities with Elephant and Piggy.
Math: We are cruising through place value with thinking about numbers to 120.
Writing: This week we finished up the final draft of our opinion writing. The students did a great job editing their papers and rewriting it!
Bible: We finished up our unit on Judges. We heard the happy ending with Ruth’s story and how she got to be a part of Jesus’ family tree!
Every Monday we vote on a Would You Rather question. Here's ours from this week:
On Wednesday we celebrated 100th day of school! We had a little party and did some activities that involved the number 100. Here’s some pictures.
