Tour Guide Ms. Turner!

This week:

Reading/ Science: We read the story I am a Butterfly. We predicted what would happen at each stage of the butterfly's life. Then we watched some videos on the metamorphosis of the butterfly and correctly labeled the life cycle of a butterfly!

Math: We are beginning to work with number stories to figure out "How much more?" or "How much less?" something is. We are also continuing to learn about greater then and less then with numbers and adding large numbers together.

Bible: We finished up the unit of Joshua. The students really enjoyed learning about the Battle of Jericho, and the amazing things that God did for the Israelites. God promised them he would give them the land Canaan, and as long as they followed God, they won every step of the way.

Writing: We are starting a unit on Procedural Writing such as "How to…" The students came up with some great ideas on how to do something and writing it down and drawing the steps.

Next week:

Regular 5 day week.
